INFRASTRUCTURE

The function of the Fire & Emergency Services are Fire Extinction, Fire Prevention and Rescue Operation in various disasters being first responder in the whole U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
The Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu are having 06 Nos. of Fire Stations each at Silvassa, Khanvel in DNH and Somnath, Moti Daman & Bhimpore (in Daman) and One is Diu. The Bhimpore Fire Station yet not operational.
The Fire Department is performing the duty round the clock to meet any in case of any emergency. All fire fighting and rescue vehicles along with equipments are always in ready position to counter in case of any emergency in the UT.
To enforcement of Fire prevention and Safety measures in various occupancies in the whole U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Apart from the above, Fire Deptt. is being issued Show Cause Notice to various occupancies and conducting fire safety training programme to create fire safety awareness amongst general public, students, etc.
